Two men have appeared at Ashford magistrates’ court in connection with an alleged firearms incident that happened on the A20 near Smeeth on August 26.
Both men Myles Yarney, 35, of North Road, Hythe and Steven McIntosh, 40, from Bindon Blood Road, Dover, have been charged with affray and actual bodily harm.
Mr Yarney was charged with a further offence of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
It is alleged that that two men assaulted David Brown and his son Damian at his home near Smeeth following a dispute over a Ferrari car.
Police had been called to the scene of the incident following allegations that one of the men had a gun and a road accident that happened as a result of the quarrel.

The two men were remanded in custody and will are due back in court on Saturday to set bail conditions.
