New restaurant on Harbour Street describes itself as a “British restaurant”

THE already-booming Thanet dining scene received another boost for 2013 with the opening of a new restaurant today.

There has been some intrigue surrounding the new Wyatt and Jones restaurant in recent months with the Broadstairs venue’s website giving very little away.

It is sure to tap into the trend of buying and sourcing ingredients locally, describing itself as a “British restaurant”.

The family-owned venue in Harbour Street will be open for traditional breakfasts, lunches, evening meals and classic Sunday roasts.

The restaurant is also advertising now on Twitter for chefs to join the team.
